Thanks for all of your kind words and for all of you that have signed my guestbook and sent a message to
our soldiers!  Please keep them coming in!  Thanks for your support!
I know this is off topic, but is a very important matter...The Breast Cancer site is having trouble
getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram
a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on
"donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle). This doesn't cost you a thing. Their
corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate a mammogram in exchange for
advertising. Click on the pic to go to the web site! Please pass it along to 10 people you know

Hi. I'm Maggie Herrera. I'm from Toledo Ohio and I'm new to the United States
Navy. I just turned 21 so yay! I joined in May went to boot camp, then "A"
school in San Antonio Texas at Lackland Air Force Base. After I got orders to
Misawa Japan, another Air Foces Base. In the Navy I'm a Master-at-Arms. Being

I'm so new to the Military I don't have much history. But on the other hand my
fionse has much Military history.Dan Stoy is from Hudson Falls New York and
he has two beautiful sons Tyler and Gabe. Right now he's a Srgt.in the Marines
and has been in for 8 years.  During his time in the Marines he's been stationed in
or Norfolk with Fast Co. Camp Pendelton, Quantico VA Range PMI for the
LT's, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Yemen, Kuwait and then to 1/8 Camp Lejeune. He's
visited so many places only few could dream of. Right now he's fighting in Iraq
and has been there since June.Dan recently got hurt and recieved a purple heart.
But he's ok now and is back fighting.I'm so proud of him, for who he is and what
he does.Same goes for everyone else over there. I pray everynight for the safe
return of him and all the men and women he's fighting next to.
Hey thanks for the support and I am sorry to hear about your friend's fiance and i
give my heart to you, her, and his family. I want to thank you for showing your
support to me and the rest of our service members.

My name is SPC Stahley with the 362nd MP dat. I am in the Army and I have
done a 1 year tour in Iraq. I am from Easton, PA.

My comment is: I want to thank you for showing your support, and I want to
thank all the service members who have risked their lives for freedom. For all
the service members oversea's come back safely you are all missed.
This is my son, A1C Matthew Scott, who was in Iraq.  Seems he caught a VIRUS there, and it
has destroyed his pancreas.  He will be medically discharged in the future.  His dream has
always been to fly planes, and now it seems that his plans have been destroyed thanks to Iraq.
He is NOT the only one who got sick while there, but it seems he is one of the lucky ones.  The
others, the virus shut down their kidneys, and destroyed their liver.  i am So PROUD of his
decision to join the USAF, and so THANKFUL that he returned safe and sound from Iraq.
Thanks so much for the web site, I love to keep weekly tabs on it.

Sgt. Bratton of the USMC was deployed in January 2003 and served in
Operation Iraqi Freedom.  While the rest of his unit was returning home, Cpl.
Bratton volunteered to stay with the rear party for an additional seven months in
Iraq.  He stayed so that his brothers could return home to their wives and
children.  Although he volunteered to stay until February 2004, he returned back
to the US in late September 2003.  He was home for approximately four months
before heading back to Iraq for OIF II.  He left with the Advanced Party in
February 2004, and returned safely home in early October.
~*~Please pray for all our warriors and soldiers who fight to protect our
country and ensure our freedom.  Whether or not you are in support of the war,
show your support for our troops.  Show them you appreciate their selfless acts
of duty and the sacrifices they make for this beautiful country of ours. ~*~
This is a picture of my American Hero, my brother PFC Keith Ealey.  He is
getting ready to go to Iraq to defend our great nation with the rest of our
American Troops.    We will miss him terribly and constantly keep him as well
as all the troops in our prayers each and every day until the "Welcome Home"
party.  He will be deployed to Iraq with his unit.  Last we heard they were
leaving around the middle of February 2005 for an 18th month deployment.  He
is engaged to a beautiful woman who is also in the Army.  She is currently on
assignment in Korea.  They are going to try and get married before Keith is
deployed.  He has so much life ahead of him, yet he is putting all of that aside to
defend our country.  Just knowing the sacrifice he is giving up for the American
people brings a tear to my eye.  Knowing that our troops are overseas fighting
for a brighter future for my children helps me sleep at night.  I can simply say
thank you but I know that it will never be enough to express my gratitude for
these brave men and women.
To all of our troops who have fought and are overseas: THANK YOU from the
bottom of my heart!  I may never get to meet you or shake your hand, but please
remember that you are a hero in this grateful American's eyes. I appreciate your
sacrifice and that of your families more then words can express.  Take care of
each other and come home soon!  Always Proud to be an American, Mellissa
Thank you to all of the great American troops who defend and Protect America!
The two marines that you see here are Lcpl. B. Olortegui and Lcpl. C. Olortegui. These two brave people
are my 19 yr old brother and 22 yr old sister. My sister is a veteran at the age of 22.  They're both so young
but have done so much. They have been away with from their family for long periods of time.  My brother
was only 18 when he left for Afghanistan, he left his family and fiancee, I can't exactly say he left his
friends because they all left with him. My sister had spent her birthday in Iraq last year, she is most likely
going to do it again this year. My brother had spent his 19th birthday in the cold mountains of Afghanistan. I
can't remember the last time we spent their birthdays with them. The Marines have taken them away from
my family and I for a very long time, and in some ways, a very critical time. We don't enjoy the distances,
but we do everything we can to support them, from making signs and wearing Marine Corps. patches from
Camp Lejune and Kuwait, to screaming out to the world to support those who are overseas. We miss them,
and always will until they return. We will think of them every time we hear the Star Spangled Banner, and
how the anthem gave them chills down their spines, we will think of them when we see ads for the military,
and we will think of them when we hear songs dedicated to brave and courageous people just like them.
Some people still don't understand the pain a family goes through, lending a family member to the gov't,
and it's twice as bad when we give two.  My family is so proud of them, and support them to the best of our
ability. Tears come to my eyes when I see their pictures hanging around my house, especially if they're
away. I couldn't be any more proud. All I ask, is that people recognize their bravery and pray for all of
those in the armed forces, for those overseas and for those right here at home, they ALL deserve a minute
or two of prayer.
love,
                                  your sister,
                                       Kimberly A. Olortegui
